Getting started
Private students are those pursuing their studies independently, without sponsorship from a Kuwaiti government ministry or agency. The steps below walk you through admission certification with the Cultural Office.
Create an individual account on the Ministry of Higher Education’s Dayrah Academic Online System. Dayrah e-Services is where students create an account and submit transactions electronically — all students must have an active account before the Cultural Office can approve their admission.
Once your Dayrah account is set up, register with the KCO Student Portal to begin your admission certification process.
Use the Student Section menu on the left to find health insurance information, the social allowance request tutorial, scholarship application requirements, and downloadable student forms.
